How Revision Works
Every revision case is assessed individually. Depending on the issues involved, solutions may include strategic regrafting to improve density or naturalness, scar excision or FUE grafts placed directly into scar tissue, and fat transfer to rejuvenate a damaged or scarred scalp before transplantation. In some cases a combination of approaches provides the best outcome.
Scar Repair
Donor site scars, whether a linear strip scar or an overharvested FUE area, can often be significantly improved. Options include plastic surgery techniques to refine and close the scar, or FUE grafts placed into the scar to conceal it. Growth factor injections can also stimulate regrowth in scar tissue.
